Dunkerque Port
Dunkerque Port is one of the busiest and most important ports in France. It is located in the northernmost part of the country, on the English Channel. Dunkirk Port is the largest deep-water port in the Channel and one of the busiest ports in Europe. The port handles a wide range of cargo, including containers, Ro-Ro (roll-on/roll-off) traffic, and bulk cargo. Dunkirk Port is also a central hub for the ferries that operate between France and the UK. It is also an important fishing port. Dunkerque is the largest town near the port. Other cities near the port include Calais, Boulogne-sur-Mer, and Dunkirk.
