The Port of Felixstowe is the largest container port in the United Kingdom. It is located in Felixstowe, Suffolk, on the east coast of England. The port has a deep-water harbor and can handle the world’s largest container ships. The port handles a wide range of cargo, including containers, roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) vehicles, and breakbulk. The Port of Felixstowe is owned and operated by Hutchison Ports, a subsidiary of Hutchison Whampoa. The port has been in operation since 1967 and has undergone several expansion projects to accommodate the increasing size of container ships and the growth in container traffic.
