Vizag Port
The Vizag Port or Visakhapatnam Port is one of the 13 major ports in India. It is located on the east coast of India, in Andhra Pradesh. The port is governed by the Visakhapatnam Port Trust, a government body. The port has a natural deep-water harbor. It is located on the Bay of Bengal, with an outer harbor situated on the east side of the inner harbor. The port has a total of 18 berths, with 13 berths in the inner harbor and five in the outer harbor. The port handles a variety of cargo, including containers, coal, iron ore, and crude oil.
