The Hamriyah LPG Terminal Port is located in the United Arab Emirates and is the first LPG terminal in the country. The terminal is owned and operated by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). The terminal has a storage capacity of 500,000 metric tons of LPG and a loading capacity of 8,000 metric tons per day. The port exports LPG to markets in Asia and the Middle East. Major towns near Hamriyah LPG Terminal Port are Fujairah, Khor Fakkan, Kalba, Dibba Al-Hisn, and Dibba Al-Baya. The port has two berths, each with a depth of 18 meters and a ship loading/unloading rate of 1,000 cbm/h. The terminal also has a pipeline connection to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company’s (ADNOC) Ruwais Refinery.

Export /Import requirements

The Hamriyah LPG Terminal Port has specific requirements for the export and import of LPG. These are:

  1. All LPG must be transported in ISO containers.
  2. All LPG must be shipped by the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code.
  3. All LPG must be labeled and documented according to the IMDG Code.
  4. All LPG must be inspected and certified by a qualified inspector before export.
  5. All LPG must be stored in a properly ventilated and fireproofed area.
